Prolepsis is a “not for profit” research institution established in 1991 in Athens, Greece. With a strong belief in health being a fundamental right, Prolepsis has undertaken a leading role in the field of public health, by designing and implementing initiatives on various public health issues and in different sectors. Prolepsis Institute focuses on vulnerable populations such as the children, women, the elderly and people living in poverty and isolation. The development and implementation of training is a core aspect of the work Prolepsis implements. Prolepsis implements research as well as applied programs and educational and training initiatives in cooperation with other institutions, aiming at health promotion, health education, medical research, policy change and the alleviation of health inequalities.
